How a hunt works
A bonus hunt has two stages. During collection, you play until you trigger several bonus rounds without opening them; the amount spent during this phase is the starting cost. At opening, you launch the bonuses one by one and note what each one pays.
In the tool, create a hunt with its starting cost and currency, add each bonus (the slot, chosen from our database or entered by hand, and the stake per round), then enter the winnings as the opening goes on.
How the tool calculates
- Total stakes: the sum of the per-round stakes of all the bonuses collected.
- Break-even multiplier: the starting cost divided by the total stakes. It is the average multiplier the bonuses must reach to pay back the starting cost.
- Current average: the winnings already obtained divided by the stakes of the bonuses opened.
- Required average: what is left to win to break even (starting cost minus winnings) divided by the stakes of the remaining bonuses.
- Result: winnings minus starting cost, provisional until all the bonuses are opened.
Example: with a starting cost of €500 and ten bonuses at a €1 stake, the break-even multiplier is x50. If the first four bonuses pay €160, the current average is x40 and the required average on the remaining six rises to x56.67.
Sharing a hunt
A hunt is private by default. Once made public, it gets a shareable link: everyone can see your username, the bonuses and the results, but never your email address. Public hunts also feed the community statistics for each slot.
Playing responsibly
A bonus hunt is still gambling: over time, the average result is negative, whatever the method. Set your starting cost as a leisure expense that you can afford to lose entirely. If gambling is no longer fun, see the responsible gambling page.
