Casinos to avoid: our warning criteria

This list flags operators where we have found documented problems. It is never an accusation of fraud: each status is based on sourced facts and may change.

Our warning criteria

A casino may be flagged when we find, with supporting evidence:

  • a licence that cannot be found in the register of the authority cited, or a number that does not match the operating entity;
  • terms and conditions changed without informing players, or applied retroactively;
  • withdrawals blocked without a written reason, or processing times far longer than advertised;
  • vaguely worded clauses allowing winnings to be confiscated;
  • repeated, documented complaints that have gone unanswered;
  • the use of fake reviews or of sites imitating another brand.

Statuses

  • Under watch: one or more warning signs are documented; we are monitoring the situation.
  • High risk: serious, repeated problems are documented.
  • Removed from the catalogue: the casino no longer meets our criteria and has been archived.
  • Resolved: the problems identified have been corrected in a verifiable way.

Each entry lists its sources and the date of its last review. An operator can send us evidence to the contrary via the contact page: it is examined and the decision is updated if the facts justify it.
