No deposit bonus: definition and example

Small bonus or free spins given at sign-up with no prior deposit, almost always capped and subject to wagering.

Definition

A no deposit bonus lets you play without depositing any money: a few euros of bonus or a few free spins are credited at sign-up or after the account is verified. In return, the withdrawable win is almost always capped and the terms are stricter than for a deposit bonus.

Example

20 free spins given with no deposit, winnings capped at €50: even a €300 win on the free spins will only let you withdraw €50, once the wagering is met.

What to check

Check the winnings cap, the wagering, the validity period and whether you have to make a deposit before you can withdraw.
