Promo code: definition and example
Code to enter at sign-up or when making a deposit in order to get an offer; without it, some bonuses are not credited.
Definition
Some casinos reserve an offer for a promo code, to be entered at sign-up, in the cashier or with customer support. Others credit their bonuses automatically. The code does not change the terms of the offer, only access to it.
Example
An offer reserved for a code has to be claimed at the time of the deposit: a deposit made without the code does not usually entitle you to the bonus afterwards.
What to check
Check on the casino’s review whether a code is needed and what it really gives you.
