Sticky bonus: definition and example
Bonus that can never be withdrawn: only what it wins beyond its own amount becomes withdrawable, once the wagering is met.
Definition
A “sticky” bonus stays attached to the account: its amount is deducted when you withdraw. By contrast, with a non-sticky bonus you play your real money first, and the bonus only comes into play once that balance is used up.
Example
With a €100 sticky bonus and a balance of €350 at the end of the wagering, the amount you can withdraw is €250.
What to check
The terms state whether the bonus is withdrawable: this is rarely highlighted in the offer.
