Mines: probability of each tile and fair multiplier
Choose the number of mines: here is the probability of revealing each safe tile in a row, the multiplier that would be fair and what the game really pays.
In short
With 3 mines among 25 tiles, the first tile revealed is safe 88.0% of the time.
Revealing 5 safe tiles in a row with 3 mines: 49.57%, or one chance in 2.0.
Fair multiplier after 5 tiles: x2.02; with an RTP of 97.0%, the game pays x1.96.

25-tile grid. Probability of k safe tiles: C(25 − m, k) ÷ C(25, k). The real multiplier depends on the RTP stated by the game.
The calculation
The grid has 25 tiles. With m mines, the first tile revealed is safe with a probability of (25 − m) ÷ 25, the second (24 − m) ÷ 24, and so on: the probabilities multiply. With 3 mines, revealing 5 safe tiles in a row happens only about once in two.
Fair multiplier and paid multiplier
A fair multiplier would return exactly the bet on average: it is the inverse of the probability of revealing all those tiles without hitting a mine. The game pays that multiplier multiplied by its RTP; the difference is the house edge.
Cashing out early or late changes nothing on average
Cashing out after one tile or after ten gives the same average return: the RTP. More mines or more tiles revealed only make wins rarer and bigger. No tile is “safer” than another: each draw places the mines at random.
