Multiplier: definition and example
Factor applied to the bet or the win: x2 doubles the bet. It is found in crash games, Plinko, Mines and slot machines.
Definition
A multiplier expresses a win as a number of times the bet. In crash games and Mines it rises as the round goes on; in Plinko, each bucket has its own. The higher it is, the rarer it is.
Example
In a crash game with a 97% RTP, reaching x10 happens only 9.7% of the time.
What to check
A big multiplier does not make up for its rarity: on average, each bet costs the house edge.
